I’ve never been tested for Lyme’s Disease. I’ve been sick since I was a small child. I grew up in a big city in a place with nearly no trees or grass and I’ve never had a tick bite as far as I know. But you’re correct, I should be checked.
Just thought I'd suggest another diet in case it works for you. Your diet seems basically raw anyways, but I haven't read a lot of your posts so forgive me if I'm off base. I have Crohn's and want to try it very soon. It's basically a juicing fast where you use a juicing machine to extract juice from vegetables and fruit. It gives the digestive system a break for however long you do it, suggestions are from 7 days to 3 months! I'd suggest watching Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead. Hope it helps maybe!
Thanks anon. I watched that movie last year with my husband who after watching it finally believed me and we decided to try juice as a replacement for one meal (breakfast). I am looking into getting a juicer but will probably wait until my garden is producing cause veggies and fruits are expensive and juicing uses a lot. The other reason that I don’t juice for every meal is because of the fiber. Juicing is awesome and I am considering going raw.
I’m having a major reaction to something I ate, not sure what, I suspect the cashews. My hands are swollen and I cannot make a fist. Not sure what to do. I took Benadryl to calm down my immune system because the pain is terrible. I couldn’t go to the gym today.
Tomorrow I am going to intake as much fruits, vegetables and water as I can take.
Work was so long and I still have to get ready for tomorrow. The daffodils are blooming and I am getting ready for my big garden project. This is my first year as a homeowner so I am actually going to plant perennials and a vegetable garden. I’m pretty excited. I won’t have to spend ridiculous amounts of money for organic produce and everything will be so beautiful once spring gets here.
I drank a lot of water today. I might have had too much. My goal was 100 ounces everyday but that might be too much. I’ve been going every 30 minutes and I’ve only had 85 ounces. Not sure about this.
I’ve been to many doctors for many years. They treated my symptoms and I had relief from acute problems (major infections, etc.) but overall my whole body was inflamed. Muscles: Fibromyalgia. Joints: Rheumatoid. Digestion: Crohn’s Disease. Skin: Psoriasis. Etc.
I took so much medication. Too much medication and one day I realized: “Woah, this could be the rest of my life. 20 pills a day, blood testing every week, infusions once a month. $4,000/month, for forever. Yeah, this is not sustainable.”
So I resolved to help myself through nutrition. I tried lots of diets (10 years of trying). Low-fiber. Lactose-free. Low-fat. No preservatives. Gluten-free. I’d still flare-up but instead of calling a doctor (because they’d proven fairly useless), I’d just drink a ton of water (3L+), take a benadryl and go to sleep and wait for it to be over.
Now I am trying this: No meat. No dairy. No wheat. I feel the best that I have ever felt. Ever (20 years of ever). I am even able to workout. But I still randomly flare, like last night, when out of nowhere my whole body flushed red and started itching.
I wish I could figure this out. I want this to be over.
